SBC Congratulates on the Repeal of the Caesar Act Sanctions on Syria
The Syrian British Consortium welcomes the positive news regarding the lifting of the Caesar Act. This significant development follows sustained, intensive diplomatic efforts undertaken by the Syrian Interim Government, alongside the constructive support of friendly states in the region, foremost among them the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and the State of Qatar, as well as the long, persistent efforts made by the Syrian community in the United States of America.
On this occasion, the Syrian British Consortium also expresses its profound appreciation to the United States Administration and to the members of the U.S. Congress for recognising the imperative of lifting sanctions imposed on Syria, in order to support its economy and contribute meaningfully to the rebuilding of the country and the foundations of its new state.
In light of this positive step, the Syrian British Consortium renews its call upon the Government of the United Kingdom to further intensify its support for economic and commercial initiatives that will facilitate Syria’s economic recovery and deliver tangible benefits to both the Syrian and British peoples.

المجلس السوري البريطاني يبارك للشعب السوري إزالة عقوبات قيصر بشكل نهائي
يُبارك المجلس السوري البريطاني للسوريين الخبرَ السارّ المتعلّق برفع قانون قيصر، وذلك بعد عمل دبلوماسي مكثف من قبل الحكومة السورية المؤقتة، ودعم من قبل دول صديقة في المنطقة و على رأسها المملكة العربية السعودية و تركيا وقطر،وجهودٍ طويلة ودؤوبة بذلتها الجاليةُ السورية في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية
كما يتقدّم المجلس السوري البريطاني بالشكر إلى الإدارة والكونغرس الأميركي وأعضائه الذين أقروا بضرورة رفع العقوبات الموضوعة على سوريا لدعم اقتصادها والمساهمة في بناء دولتها الجديدة
وفي هذه المناسبة يجدد المجلس السوري البريطاني دعوته للحكومة البريطانية إلى تكثيف دعمها للمبادرات الاقتصادية والتجارية التي ستدعم تعافي الاقتصاد السوري وتخدم الشعبين السوري والبريطاني
