Statement Condemning Continued Israeli Strikes
The Syrian British Consortium expresses its unequivocal condemnation of the ongoing military interventions by Israel on Syrian territory. These are most notably manifested in repeated airstrikes that directly undermine civil peace and constitute a blatant violation of national sovereignty.
These repeated military interventions are not only a breach of Syria’s sovereignty and a violation of the rights of all Syrians, but also represent a serious blow to civilian efforts and peaceful demands consistently expressed by civil society forces -particularly in the city of Suwayda- which have repeatedly called for the respect of human rights and the establishment of security and stability free from external interference.
Building on our previous statement concerning the tragic events in Suwayda Governorate, the Syrian British Consortium reaffirms that Syria’s future can only be realised through the efforts of its people, their commitment to a unifying national identity, and their participation in the construction of a state based on institutions that safeguard the rights and freedoms of all segments of Syrian society.
Accordingly, the Syrian British Consortium calls upon the UK Government to take all possible political and diplomatic measures to pressure the Israeli government to cease its repeated violations of Syrian sovereignty- particularly in these critical times when Syrians are striving to build a dignified and hopeful future for their country, after years of war and tyranny.

بيان إدانة للضربات الإسرائيلية المستمرّة
يعرب المجلس السوري البريطاني عن رفضه القاطع لاستمرار التدخلات العسكريّة من قبل إسرائيل على الأراضي السورية، والتي تتجلى في الضربات الجوية المتكررة التي تُسهم بشكل مباشر في تقويض السلم الأهلي، وتمثل انتهاكًا صريحًا للسيادة الوطنية.
إن هذه التدخلات العسكريّة المتكرّرة لا تقتصر على كونها خرقًا للسيادة الوطنية، وانتهاكاً لحقوق السوريين والسوريات جميعاً، بل يُعد أيضًا ضربًا للجهود المدنية والمطالب السلمية التي لطالما عبّرت عنها القوى المدنية، لا سيما في مدينة السويداء، والتي دعت مرارًا إلى احترام حقوق الإنسان وضمان الأمن والاستقرار بعيدًا عن التدخلات الخارجية.
كما يؤكد المجلس السوري البريطاني، عطفاً على بيانه السابق حول الأحداث الدامية في محافظة السويداء، على أن مستقبل سوريا لا يمكن أن يبنى إلا بجهود أبنائها وبناتها وتمسكهم بالهوية الوطنية الجامعة ومشاركتهم في بناء دولة المؤسسات التي تحفظ وتصون حقوق وحريات كافة مكوّنات الشعب السوري.
وانطلاقًا من ذلك، فإن المجلس السوري البريطاني يدعو الحكومة البريطانية إلى اتخاذ كافة التدابير السياسية والدبلوماسية الممكنة للضغط على الحكومة الإسرائيلية من أجل وقف انتهاكاتها المتكررة للسيادة السورية، ولا سيما في هذه الظروف الحرجة التي يسعى فيها السوريون والسوريات إلى بناء مستقبل كريم وواعد لبلادهم التي أنهكتها سنوات الحرب والاستبداد.
