Event: Achieving Justice in Syria: Challenges and Opportunities for the UK Govt'

On 30 July 2024, SBC’s Investigations Team hosted an event in collaboration with Amnesty International titled “Achieving Justice in Syria: Challenges and Opportunities for the UK Government”. The event was held at Amnesty International’s premises in London. Over 100 people attended the event in-person and an additional 220 people attended virtually via Zoom. The event discussed pertinent developments in the Syria accountability space and directed recommendations to the new UK government. SBC’s intervention focused on our recent report, “Militia on Campus: Crimes of the National Union of Syrian Students at Damascus University” which is accessible here.
